Best in Profession – 2017
04.04.2017For the second year in a row Usolsky Potash Combine, Ural-remstroyservice and Berezniki mechanical works hold Best in Profession competition among workers. This time 55 specialists of different production areas were ready to show their skills and compete for prize places, showing an increase of 11 employees compared with 2016.
Production workshops of the companies and constructed site of Usolsky Potash Combine were the main competition areas. Maintenance mechanics, electricians for equipment maintenance and repair, turners, electric and gas welders and drivers (car and trucks) competed for the title of the best expert. Competition included both theoretical and practical tasks simulating actual working conditions to the maximum extent.
The main objective of professional skill competition is to improve prestige and value of working professions and mark workers with a high degree of specialized competencies and knowledge. Thus, this year 7 specialists of 18 winners and prize-winners of 2017 reconfirmed as well the title “Best in Profession” in top three. More than 30 competitors participated in the contest for the first time. In the opinion of the members of the experts and jury, such contests create competitive environment and increase workers’ motivation. All winners and prize-winners received diplomas, certificates, corporative gifts and additional monetary payments.
- I participated in professional skill competition for the second time in nomination of “Best Truck Driver”. It is a special pleasure when your job is appreciated at true value. I has won in this competition for the second time and I am truly happy to prove my professional competence once again. This year the competence program was much more complicated. Apart from road traffic rules and safety norms, competition also included kind of sport events: race with wheel of dumping truck and perfectly performed activities on KAMAZ, - said Igor Gorbenko, operator of automatic crane OOO Ural-remstroyservice, winner of professional skill competition.
